  Warning when closing the launcher during a game

  • Closing the launcher while the game is running now shows a warning.
  • Progress made after the launcher closes (experience, items, stash) is not saved on the server and is rolled back to the server's copy the next time you join. Close the game first, then the launcher.

  Launcher auto-update (last reinstall)

  • The launcher now updates itself New. Install the 0.3.1 setup once; you will not need a setup file again.
  • Balance patches, game plugins and D2RLoader updates are downloaded by themselves too; a D2RLoader update asks once before installing.
  • When an update comes out during a game, a notice shows over the game. Closed, it comes back 5 minutes later; the update applies when you quit the game.
  • The lobby room list, chat, notices and maintenance notices arrive from the server at once.
  • During server maintenance, hosting and joining are blocked and the launcher shows a notice.
  • If you use a 0.2.x launcher, download the 0.3.1 setup from the site and install it once.

  Launcher chat

  • You can chat in the launcher New. Open it with the [채팅] (Chat) button at the top left or "open chat" in the tray menu; you chat with the account you logged in with.
  • There is always an [전체] (All) channel, and you can create your own channels (up to 3 each). While viewing a channel you created, delete it with the delete-channel button at the top or by right-clicking it.
  • The chat window is separate from the launcher: it stays when the launcher goes to the tray, and closing it minimizes it. Drag its edges or the grip at the bottom right to resize it.
  • With the chat window closed or minimized, the chat button still shows when new messages arrive.
  • Messages are kept for 7 days; a channel with no messages for 7 days is removed.

  Clearer join guide

  • The guide shown over the game now points only at the buttons to press.
  • Join: Multiplayer → top [Game List] tab → bottom left [Direct Join] → keep the address 127.0.0.1 → [Join Game].
  • Host: Multiplayer → top [Host Game] tab → make sure 'LAN only' is checked → bottom center [Create Game].
  • The other fields of the multiplayer window (search, filters, public IP and so on) are not needed.
